At Knight Stables, we are proud to offer a complete equestrian experience, including both boarding services and riding lessons for riders aged 6 and up. Our facility is designed to provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment where riders of all levels can progress at their own pace.

Structured Skill-Based Program🎓
Our new lesson program is built around a progressive skill system, ranging from beginner to advanced levels, each divided into Levels 1, 2, and 3.
Riders develop their abilities through clear, measurable objectives, allowing for consistent and structured progression. Each lesson is focused on specific skills such as control, balance, transitions, position, and horsemanship.
We conduct regular evaluations to track progress, and riders are recognized with certificates as they reach key milestones in their development.
Experienced and Well-Suited Horses
We offer a range of mature, well-trained horses carefully selected to match different rider levels. Each rider is paired with a horse suited to their skills and confidence, ensuring a safe and rewarding experience.
Horsemanship-Focused Approach
Our program goes beyond riding. Riders actively participate in preparing their horses—grooming, tacking up, and handling—helping them build a deeper connection with the horse and a stronger understanding of horsemanship.

BOARDING

Welcome to our horse boarding facility located in Wakefield, Quebec, just 30 minutes from Ottawa. At Knight Stables, we are committed to providing a safe, caring, and well-managed environment where both horses and owners can feel at home.
Our approach focuses on consistency, transparency, and quality care, ensuring your horse’s well-being while offering flexible options to suit different needs, levels of involvement, and budgets.
Boarding Options🏡
We offer a variety of boarding packages designed to match your lifestyle and your horse’s needs:
- Indoor Board – $850/month
- Hybrid Board – $700/month
- DIY Board – $550/month
- Outdoor Board – $400/month
For all options, shavings are the owner's responsibility. We work with a reliable supplier offering competitive pricing and can coordinate orders on your behalf, with costs billed accordingly.
Indoor & Hybrid Board
Consistent, full-care environment
Our Indoor and Hybrid packages are designed for owners looking for reliable, daily care with peace of mind.
Included services:
- Feeding twice daily (grain provided by owner; barn supply available at additional cost)
- Daily blanket changes based on weather and individual needs
- Bringing horses inside during extreme weather (storms, heatwaves, etc.) year-round
- Indoor horses are brought in daily (day or night depending on schedule)
- Coordination of farrier and veterinary appointments
- Daily stall cleaning, bucket maintenance, and hay/shavings management
This option ensures your horse benefits from a structured routine, attentive care, and a clean, safe environment, while allowing you to stay as involved as you wish.
DIY Board – $550/month
Private, flexible, owner-managed care
Located on the newer side of the barn, this option offers a quieter and more private setting, ideal for owners who prefer a more hands-on approach.
Features include:
- Clean, well-maintained facilities
- New tack room and grooming space
- Reduced traffic for a more relaxed atmosphere
Additional services can be added at an extra cost.
Please note: This option reflects the quality of the facilities and upkeep and does not include daily care services. Availability may change if stalls are required for Indoor or Hybrid board.
Outdoor Board – $400/month
Simple and cost-effective
Outdoor boarders are housed in a separate section of the barn.
- No services are included in this option
- Ideal for owners who prefer to fully manage their horse’s care while benefiting from our facilities

Convenient childcare options
For the convenience of busy parents, we offer daycare services from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for an additional cost of only $20 per day. This guarantees a stress-free experience for you and your child.
